Killarney Vale Public School - public education – how far have we come!

Children (and parents) came dressed for school in 1911 and experienced a variety of activities of the time - including a bread and cheese lunch. They then 'time travelled' to 2011 and looked at education today - the care is the same but the process is so much more technical and hands-on.

Central Mangrove Public School

Our students started our Education Week celebrations on Tuesday with the Watertight Program presented by Gosford City and Wyong Shire Councils along with Rumbalara Environmental Education Centre and the Community Environment Network. On Wednesday the Central Mangrove Dance Group and School Choir performed at the Learning Community Showcase at Kariong Mountains High School. Thursday was the school's official Open Day with many parents and grandparents visiting to see our students' wonderful work. A book fair to raise much needed funds was running all week.

Year 4 students Thalia, Alexandra, Brock and Ryan participated in science experiments during Water Tight Day.
