Education Week in North Coast Region

Bungwahl Public School represented the North Coast Region at the Showcase09 videoconference which linked ten schools from each region. Opened by the Minister for Education and Training, Verity Firth, the Showcase celebrated the Education Week focus on the environment.

Director-General for a Day and associated programs
Melanie, Southern Cross School, travelled to Sydney to experience the work of the General Manager Access and Equity for a Day, under the guidance of Deonne Smith. She was assisted by Jason, Oxley High School.

Jack, Ballina High School also travelled to Sydney where he acted as Director, Professional Learning and Leadership Development for a Day, where one of his roles was to address the Principal for a Day Forum
