Education Week in New England Region Education Week Showcase09 Macintyre High School represented the New England Region at the Showcase09 videoconference which linked ten schools from each region. Opened by the Minister for Education and Training, Verity Firth, the Showcase celebrated the Education Week focus on the environment.
Director-General for a Day and associated programs Jason, Oxley High School, travelled to Sydney to experience the work of the General Manager Access and Equity for a Day, under the guidance of Deonne Smith. He was assisted by Melanie form Southern Cross School.
Ambre, Tenterfield High School also travelled to Sydney and worked with Kerry Edmeades as the Director Equity Programs and Distance Education for a Day.
