The Schools Spectacular is a variety entertainment showcase featuring over 2,500 gifted and talented performers from over 2,200 NSW government schools.

Star Struck is an annually produced variety and entertainment show.

Star Struck provides performance opportunities for over 3,000 students from Kindergarten to Year 12 and showcases performing arts programs taught in government schools in the Hunter District.

Government Schools from the Hunter District are invited to audition by video in Term 4. Detailed Information is sent to schools in Term 3.

 
Star Struck

State Dance Festival is a showcase of dance from Kindergarten to year 12 from government schools across New South Wales.

The festival takes place at the Seymour Centre in Sydney and has close to a thousand students from all over New South Wales participating and displaying their talent and enthusiasm for dance.

The State Dance Festival aims to:

  • Demonstrate the outcomes of dance curricula in NSW public schools
  • Encourage the pursuit of excellence in dance
  • Support the continuing development of dance in schools
  • Provide an opportunity for talented students to engage in quality performance in a professional venue.
