They help prepare students for the changing needs of today's society. Across NSW there are specialist technology high schools covering technology, rural technology, and marine technology. Subjects Offered The schools provide a comprehensive education with specialist options in technology areas such as robotics and computing. Students learn 'with' technology in every aspect of their schooling. Computers are easily accessible by all students. As with all our secondary schools, Technology High Schools offer subjects that meet the needs and interests of individual students, and are in line with the requirements set by the NSW Board of Studies for the School Certificate and Higher School Certificate. Some schools also offer courses in partnership with TAFE colleges. More information on this can be gained from the school's principal. Enrolment Gaining entry to some of these schools may be difficult, either because they have special entry requirements or because the number of places is limited by the accommodation. Enrolment will depend on the student meeting special criteria. The high school's principal will identify the criteria to you.
