Opportunity class placement cannot automatically be transferred. However, if your child is enrolled in an opportunity class and you are moving to another area where there is also a school with an opportunity class, you should write to the Unit requesting that your child be placed on the reserve list for the opportunity class at the school in the new area.
As schools with opportunity classes can have different cut-off scores, it may be possible in some cases for students who were offered placement in an opportunity class at one school to be unsuccessful at another school and vice versa. Irrespective of the student's place on the order of merit list, a vacancy must occur before any offer can be made.
