Ceramics is designed to enable students to gain an increasing accomplishment and independence in their representation of ideas in ceramics and understand and value how ceramics, as a field of practice, invites different interpretations and explanations.
Students will develop knowledge, skills and understanding:
- through the making of ceramic work that leads to and demonstrates conceptual and technical accomplishment;
- that lead to increasingly accomplished critical and historical investigations of ceramics.
A syllabus is a document that gives teachers an outline of what students are to be taught in a specific learning area.
The syllabus and other supporting material for Ceramics 11-12 are available from the Board of Studies.
