Geography is the study of the different dimensions of the physical and human environments.
Through geography students will develop knowledge and understanding about:
- the characteristics and distribution of a range of environments
- the processes that form and change the features of different environments
- the range of forces which impact on people, ecosystems, urban places and economic activities
- the different geographical perspectives,
and the skills to investigate and communicate geographically.
A syllabus is a document that gives teachers an outline of what students are to be taught in a specific learning area.
