The Primary Industries Curriculum Framework is designed to enable students to acquire a range of technical, personal and organisational skills valued both within and beyond the workplace. They will also acquire underpinning skills and knowledge related to the support and management of primary industries. Through study in this subject, students will gain experience that can be applied to a range of contexts, including work, study and leisure and that can be used in making informed career choices.
A syllabus is a document that gives teachers an outline of what students are to be taught in a specific learning area.
The syllabus and other supporting material for Primary Industries 11-12 are available from the Board of Studies.
