School Resources - Kindergarten to Year 6 (Primary School)

This resource has been produced to develop students'awareness of the possible harmful effects of alcohol and to help them make informed decisions about alcohol. It is an integrated model for literacy strategies and drug education.

This big book kit for Years 1-2 explores the safe use and storage of medicines.

The kit contains: a big book illustrated in colour, six small copies of the big book, an audio tape containing a narration of the story, a teacher's manual which includes lessons and background information, and two posters to help students recognise medicines and first aid equipment.

The annotated bibliography assists teachers in the selection of resources for drug education from Kindergarten to Year 12. The document contains reviews of non-fiction, fiction, internet sites and other resources relevant to teaching drug education.
