2009 Premier's Teacher Scholarships - 24 Teachers Honoured

Twenty-four teachers from across New South Wales have had their commitment to quality education recognised with a 2009 Premier's Teacher Scholarship. The 2009 program saw around 200 teachers apply for the 24 scholarships awarded across 12 curriculum areas. Read more.

School Grants for Sport Equipment

The Minister for Education and Training, Verity Firth has announced that every government school in NSW would receive a grant of up to $14,000 to buy sporting equipment under the Premier's Sporting Challenge. Under the Sports Equipment to Schools Grants, $7.5 million is available to schools this financial year. Read more.

Leadership Fellowships

Fourteen government school principals in NSW have been awarded with a Leadership Fellowship by the NSW Department of Education and Training.
