NSW Public Schools will be participating in Schools' Earth Day as part of the global Earth Hour event.
Schools Earth Day encourages schools to make changes that lead to long term energy savings in the school. Students are encouraged to discuss actions, share knowledge and suggest ways to apply these ideas at home.

Earth Hour will also be celebrated at 8.30pm on Saturday 28 March 2009.
