Building the Education Revolution update

Schools have now nominated the projects they would like to be considered for funding under the National School Pride and Primary Schools of the 21st Century components of the Commonwealth Government's Building the Education Revolution program.

National Youth Week 2009

National Youth Week runs from March 28 to April 5, 2009. It is a celebration of young people throughout the state and this year the theme is ‘Make a Move’.

Earth Hour

Schools’ Earth Day was established in 2008 to encourage NSW public schools to participate in a meaningful way in the global event Earth Hour and to make changes that lead to long term energy savings in the school.

National Partnerships

The Premier of New South Wales, Hon Nathan Rees MP, recently signed three Council of Australian Governments (COAG) National Education Agreement National Partnerships that will see up to $720 million in Commonwealth funding go to New South Wales schools over the next five years.  Find out more.

Murder under the Microscope 2009

Murder under the Microscope (MuM) is an interactive environmental investigation game for school students that will run for approximately 10 weeks in term 2.

International Women's Day 2009

Schools have been encouraged to participate in the celebrations for International Women’s Day throughout March by raising awareness amongst their school communities.
