appointed a Companion in the general Division of the Order of Australia.

many learned societies including The Australian Academy of Forensic
Sciences, The Australian Society for Legal Philosophy and The Law
Foundation of New South Wales.

Chairman of the
New South Wales Law Reform Commission from 1993 -1996 and the New
South Wales Migrant Employment and Qualifications Board from 1992-1995.

Appointed Commissioner,
Commission of Inquiry into the Australian Security Intelligence Service
1994-1995 and Chairman, Mediator Accreditation Board, Australian Commercial
Disputes Centre in 1994-1996.
