Dear all, I received an email today from the AFMLTA about an important project in which I encourage you to be involved. I¹m contacting you in relation to a project being run by the AFMLTA. The project was commissioned by DEST and involved developing standards for languages teaching with a particular focus on Indonesian. The project has been through the development phase is now ready for evaluation. Indonesian teachers in NSW and S.A have been asked to be the evaluators for the project. Michelle Kohler from the AFMLTA would like to have a pre-evaluation meeting to explain the process and then for teachers go away and think and meet up after the holidays to debrief. We need a group of 10 (experienced preferably) teachers of Indonesian to be involved in the evaluation. Michelle would visit on 14th June to meet face to face with the group. The meeting would be in Leichhardt (Café Norton or PTC) at 4.30pm - 5.30pm on Tuesday 14th June (only 1 hour needed). Please respond if you are interested to be part of this important group. Salam dari Melissa Gould-Drakeley President MLTA of NSW
