Dear friends and colleagues,

 

This is a serious yet amusing and quite fascinating film of the Achenese
body percussion dance form Seudati. It features live performances and
interview with various creators of` the dance form and the accompanying
lyrics. Some of the pantun lyrics are quite 'spicy'. Come and watch the
filmand enjoy ityourself.

Hi everyone, On Monday 24th of October there will be a film screening on
Acehnese dance form Seudati, a documentary by Iwan Dzulvan Amir at the
University of NSW Kensington campus. We will start screening at 7pm
sharp, but snacks and drinks will be available outside prior to
screening from 6.30pm(so come early!!). After the film, there will be
question and answer time with Iwan, the producer of this film. Hope to
see you all there and bring your friends along!! Check out the
