Indonesian Studies Casual Staff Register

 

 

The Department of Indonesian Studies is calling for expressions of
interest from suitably qualified people for its casual staff register.
Successful applicants will be eligible for consideration for occasional
guest lecturing and sessional tutoring in the Indonesian language
program. 


Who should apply?


All applicants must have native or near-native fluency in Indonesian,
have spent considerable time in Indonesia, and have a tertiary
qualification (in any discipline). Tertiary teaching experience and
language teaching qualifications are desirable but not essential. 

Successful applicants will have good organisational skills, be able to
work independently under the direction of a supervisor and have the
potential to establish good rapport with tertiary students. 


How to apply?


Applicants should submit the following by email:

*        full contact details

*        a brief CV highlighting relevant skills, qualifications and
experience;

*        name and contact details of one academic referee;

*        a one-page statement of your approach to teaching (written in
Indonesian).
