To all who utilise the services of the Indonesian
consultant,
I am sure that most of us were shocked and saddened
last year to hear that Leonie was moving on from the
position of Indonesain consultant, a position in which
she she had served us so well.
 Now that shock is turning into disappointment and
frustration that the position has not been filled.We
no longer have access to that service of
advice,professional support and networking.
I think that in order for the position to be filled,
there needs to be a demonstrated need, so I am
suggesting that rather than  accept this situation,
that we all send our normal inquiries and requests to
the Head of Asian Languages, David Jaffrey. His e-mail

david.jaffrey at det.nsw.edu.au
I think if our level of need is registered, we will
have a far better chance of a replacement, so get
those requests and inquiries flowing!
