This event is co-sponsored by the Foreign Correspondents' Association and the Australian Centre for Independent Journalism, University of Technology Sydney. You or your representative's attendance at this book launch would be most welcome. The guest speaker is Louise Williams, a senior Australian journalist with considerable experience in the Asia-Pacific region and international affairs. She is currently a leader writer for the Sydney Morning Herald where she has responsibility for editorial comment on a wide range of international and domestic issues. Louise has won the Walkley award and the John S. Knight Fellowship for Journalism at Stanford University. She was the Herald's Jakarta based correspondent from 1996-1999.
