in cooperation with the Indonesian Consulate General in Sydney.

Theme: Sufi Music - the spirit of compassion

Who is 'Kwartet Punakawan'?
The group is led by the one and only JAYA SUPRANA, the Indonesian 
great pianist. Using the names of the four punakawans of the Wayang, 
the group specializes in the 'musik-sufi'.

* Petruk: The legendary guitarist- four times winner of the national 
festival and the receiver of the South-East Asian Distinguished 
Award, Jubing Kristianto
* Bagong: The professional bass-guitarist, Heru Kusnadi
*Gareng: The supra-natural percussionist and the winner of the Yamaha 
Festival in East Java, Junaedi Musliman
*Semar: The 'invincible' pianist 'sakti-mandraguna', Jaya Suprana.
