could you please forward this plus the attachment to the SISC list?
thanks!

Aris Prabawa (aka Manyul), an artist from Central Java currently has an
exhibition in at Mori Gallery in Sydney.

Aris is a member of the awesome activist artist group Taring Padi,
based in Yogyakarta. Aris's works are incredibly detailed and extremely
powerful and critical. You may have seen his some of his work earlier
this year during the Gang Festival, either at Pine St arts centre or as
part of the MaysLane project.

The exhibition is open until 6 January,at
Mori Gallery 168 Day St, Sydney.

gallery hours wed-sat 11-6 or by appointment.

there are some example of his work online at...
http://www.aiaa.org.au/gallery/aris/aris.html

This show features a series of portraits of freedom fighters from around
the world as well as a massive (1x4ish m) pen drawing that is totally
amazing that aris worked on for about a year in both lismore and
yogyakarta. Aris will be hanging around at the gallery for the first
week of the show to talk to people about his work.

Please see the flyer atached.

thanks,

amity lynch
