Teman-teman yang baik Coming to SBS Saturday March 31, 2007 PM 7:30 EQUATOR - Asia - In this new three-part series Simon Reeve travels along the Equator. This week his first stop is a tiny island off the coast of Sumatra, where he goes fishing with the locals. Then it's on to a poultry market in West Sumatra, and a sanctuary in Kalimantan that cares for orang-utans made homeless by the destruction of their habitat. He visits a trouble hot-spot, Palu on the island of Sulawesi, where there has been friction between Christians and Muslims since 1998. Christian markets have been bombed, and Muslim men and boys murdered. Then he goes to the Togian Islands and spends some time with the Bajo, or sea gypsies from the area.
