Cultural Infusion presents the Internationally Acclaimed Indonesian
Shadow Puppeteer, Sumardi, for a second action-packed tour of Australia

 

Cultural Infusion is proud to announce the return of one of our most
loved performers, Sumardi, the Internationally acclaimed Master
Indonesian Shadow Puppeteer.

 

Sumardi will be joining us from the far reaches of his Indonesian
homeland for a six month nation-wide tour that is sure to inspire, teach
and dazzle audiences.

 

Sumardi was trained at the most esteemed school of puppetry in
Indonesia, this teamed with his distinctly Indonesian performance style
has earned Sumardi the title of Master Puppeteer.

 

For his 2007 tour, this amazing artist will take students and community
audiences through the myths and stories of Indonesia which will include
Gamelan and Puppetry. During his 50 minute interactive performance
workshop Sumardi will offer wonderful insights into Indonesian history
and culture.
