He will also show a short biographical video dealing with a Lio weaver from Ndona. Dr Roy Hamilton is Senior Museum Scientist (Curator, Asian & Pacific Collections), Fowler Museum of Cultural History, UCLA and Lecturer, Department of World Arts & Culture. UCLA. His publications include The Art of Rice: Spirit and Sustenance in Asia, From the Rainbow's Varied Hue on the textiles of the Southern Philippines and on Indonesian textiles The Gift of the Cotton Maiden: Textiles of Flores and the Solor Islands.
