Cultural Infusion presents The Rhythm Hunters - Touring Regional NSW &
ACT in May 2007!

 

The Rhythm Hunters are a world music ensemble who perform an exciting
fusion of Indonesian and Japanese music! The Rhythm Hunters are led by
Rendra whose Indonesian heritage and many years of experience in the
Asian arts contribute to an exciting and educational performance for
all. 

 

The Rhythm Hunters' interactive performances are suitable for all ages
introducing students to instruments from around the world, including a
range of different Indonesian woodwind instruments! Haunting melodies
are played on the vibrant horn-like flute called the Saluang and some of
its close relatives, the Sampelong and Bansi, from Sumatra . 

 

In addition to their Indonesian Music performance, The Rhythm Hunters
also offer a Japanese focused show including energetic Taiko Drumming -
Available upon request!!

 

The Rhythm Hunters interactive performance (2 performers) runs for 50
minutes - suitable to fit any school timetable! $4.95 per student (GST
Inclusive) - Minimum Attendance 150 students*

 

*If you have less than the minimum attendance, please do not hesitate to
contact us - we are happy to accommodate smaller groups where possible!
