Subject: Job Opportunities at the Alola Foundation, Timor-Leste

27 April, 2007

Dear Friends,

It is with great regret and sadness that Alola farewells our CEO and
friend, Anne Bunning, next month. For family reasons, Anne has tendered
her resignation from Alola and this will take effect as of mid-May.

I would like to take the opportunity of personally acknowledging Anne's
commitment and professional contribution to the women and children of
Timor-Leste. The Alola Foundation's work has been enhanced through her
boundless knowledge and dedication to gender mainstreaming objectives
and management expertise. I have been extremely proud to work with Anne
who epitomizes the virtues of "Strong Women, Strong Nation!" All of the
Staff and the Board of the Alola Foundation join me in wishing Anne only
but the very best for the future and we are grateful that she will
continue on in the role of Company Secretary.

The ramification of this change in leadership is the opportunity for
another vital and talented individual to join the ever increasing team
at Alola in the position of Chief Executive Officer. You might like to
consider this position for yourself or forward this information to
suitable candidates.

A complete position profile is attached for your consideration.

In the first instance, interested parties may forward letters of
application and curriculum vitaes to the Human Resources Officer, Ms
Alzira Sequeira Freitas at the following address: hr at alolafoundation.org

The closing date for applications is Friday 18th May, 2007.

Alola is also looking for two suitably experienced professionals to
support the development of management capacity in two of our programs,
Education and Economic Development. Both positions are Dili based, with
regular travel to districts. We are seeking suitable mentors to work
with each program for one year. For more information on the positions,
please go to the Alola Foundation website. Two other job vacancies
within the Judicial Services Monitoring Program (JSMP) and the Dili
International School are listed below, for your information, should you
be in a position to assist with identifying suitable candidates for
these jobs.

With warm regards,

Kirsty
