Dear all,
fyi

An excerpt from http://www.state.gov/g/drl/rls/irf/2006/71341.htm

"The Ministry of Religious Affairs extends official status to six
faiths: Islam, Catholicism, Protestantism, Buddhism, Hinduism, and as
of January 2006, Confucianism. In previous years, the ministry did
not offer services to Confucianism. Religious organizations other
than the six recognized faiths can register with the Government, but
only with the Ministry for Culture and Tourism and only as social
organizations. This restricts certain religious activities.
Unregistered religious groups do not have the right to establish a
house of worship and have administrative difficulties with identity
cards and registering marriages and births. "

Regards,
Rochayah
