Teman-teman yang baik,

Just a reminder

Australia-Indonesia Youth Exchange Program

(AIYEP) 2007-08

During a visit to Indonesia in January this year by the Board of the
Australia-Indonesia Institute (AII), the Australian Ambassador in
Jakarta, Mr Bill Farmer AO, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with
the Indonesian Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sport to continue one of
the AII's most successful programs, the Australia-Indonesia Youth
Exchange Program (AIYEP).

The AII, therefore, invites applications from young people aged between
21 and 25 years at the time of application, willing to represent
Australia for two months in Indonesia during December 2007 and January
2008, as members of the AIYEP 2007-08.

The program aims to provide wider opportunities for the young people of
Indonesia and Australia to appreciate the culture, development and way
of life of each other's country. Participants will be chosen from
applicants undertaking tertiary studies or employed in any one or more
of the areas listed below.

Agriculture, Arts, Music, Asian Studies, Economics, Business, Education,
Engineering, Science, Environmental Management, Journalism, Media, Law,
Medicine, Politics, Sports and Tourism.

A good level of Indonesian language is desirable.

The Indonesian exchangees are due to arrive in Australia in October 2007
and be hosted in Victoria.

Full details and an application form are contained in the "Advice to
Applicants" on the AII's website at http://www.dfat.gov.au/aii. Please
read this advice before submitting your application.
