This significant exhibition presents the finest display of Islamic art
ever seen in Australia. 

Explore twelve centuries of rare treasures created for sultans, princes
and merchants including illuminated Qur'ans, colourful ceramics,
exquisite glass, magnificent textiles, intricate gold filigree and some
of the finest miniature paintings known.

This installation includes a selection of exquisite figurative sculpture
- some borrowed - and many fine photographs from Bali, as well as a
sketchbook recently acquired for the collection
