Applications are now open for the 2009 Endeavour Language Teacher
Fellowships Program

The Endeavour Language Teacher Fellowships (ELTF) are an Australian
Government initiative which offer practising and trainee (pre-service)
language teachers an opportunity to improve their language proficiency
and cultural knowledge through an intensive, short-term study program.
The Asia Education Foundation manages the ELTF Program on behalf of the
Australian Government Department of Education, Employment, and Workplace
Relations.

In 2009, study programs will be offered for practising teachers of
Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, and
Bahasa Indonesia in Jordan, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea,
Spain, and Darwin respectively.  Trainee teachers are eligible to apply
for the study programs in Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Bahasa
Indonesia.

Applications for practising teachers close on Friday 6 June 2008.
Applications for trainee teachers close on Friday 13 June 2008.
