The event serves as an occasion to increase social interaction between Indonesian and other communities in Sydney that fosters mutual respect and tolerance. One of its main goals is to present a harmonious image of Indonesia and its vibrant cultures to the world in general, particularly Sydney / Australian community. It is also to celebrate Indonesia's richness of cultural diversity, as well as to strengthen relationship between Indonesian and Australian governments.
