Motion pictures shown in Indonesia must undergo reviewing by the Indonesian Film Censor Board (Lembaga Sensor Film)<http://www.lsf.go.id/>. Other than issuing certificates, the LSF also reviews and issues permits for film-related advertising, such as movie trailers and posters. LSF has the authority to cut scenes from films. Certificates are issued based on the following categories:

 *   SU - 'Semua Umur' - All/General
 *   A - 'Anak-anak' - Children
 *   BO - 'Bimbingan Orangtua' - Parental Guidance
 *   R - 'Remaja' - Teen
 *   D - 'Dewasa' - Mature

Hello,

Does anyone know what the official ratings for films/dvds etc are? (or if there are any official ones?)
I mean the Indonesian version of M, PG, R etc.

I've seen the following:

R = remaja (you can show Laskar Pelangi and tell your students they are watching an R rated film!)
BO18+ = bimbingan orang tua 18+

any others?
