Subject: Employment Opportunity at the Indonesian Consulate General in Sydney

The Indonesian Consulate General in Sydney is seeking a well-qualified
native English speaker with fluency in Indonesian to work in our
office located in Maroubra, Sydney. This is a full time position
(Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm) however the candidate must be available to
work some evenings/weekends as required.

The main position duties include but are not limited to:

-          Drafting correspondence and speech writing;
-          Coordinating business, cultural and community functions and events;
-          Responding to queries from the public for information about
immigration, tourism, education or business in Indonesia;
-          Assisting with government delegations visiting from Indonesia;
-          Informing the Consulate of important developments and
events taking place in Australia, including the preparation of reports
of issues covered in the Australian media.

 The successful candidate will be required to start in late June 2009.
