Dear all,

As you may well be aware, applications are currently open for the March 2010 program of the Australia-Indonesia BRIDGE Project. Applications close 5:00 pm, Friday 23 October (next week).

We urge anyone interested in applying to send their applications early as possible to the following address, as late applications will not be accepted:

Please pass information about this program onto colleagues who you think will be interested. Note that applicants do not have to be teachers of Indonesian or have any background in Indonesian language –we welcome applications from teachers of all disciplinary backgrounds.

Participating schools and teachers will have opportunities to:


 *   Host an Indonesian educator at their school
 *   Participate in ICT training (fully funded)
 *   Build Australia-Indonesia school partnerships
 *   Engage with Indonesia in your classroom through online collaboration
 *   Apply for small grants of up to $3000 to support implementation of partnership activities
