Dear Teachers of Indonesian Community Languages Teachers Test (CLTT) Primary or Secondary teachers seeking accreditation to teach a language in a bilingual or community language position in a primary school, must be accredited by the Department of Education and Training. Accreditation is attained by having successfully undertaken the Community Language Teachers Test (CLTT) in the community language. These language fluency tests are arranged by the School Staffing Unit in conjunction with the University of NSW Institute of Languages (UNSWIL). To present for the Community Languages Teachers Test teachers are required to make a written request to Teacher Recruitment Unit via fax on 9836 9767. The unit will then fax the details to the University of NSW Institute of Languages (UNSWIL) and then School Staffing will send a letter to the teacher giving contact details for registration with the University. The final fluency test for 2009 will be held on Thursday 26 November. Please send a written request to Teacher Recruitment if you would like to register for the fluency test.
