Hola, hello, ciao, nazda rappers,
We are in 3/4N at Randwick Public School and our teacher is Ms Nunez. We have 30 children in our class. Our school is in the Eastern Suburbs, within walking distance from Coogee Beach. Our teacher comes from Uruguay and speaks Spanish. This is our first rapping experience and we are very excited.

Hi from 4C at Narranga Public School. Our teacher, Mrs Grodzicki, is really into caring for our environment and has organised fun activities like attending the Environmental fun day we had in Coffs Harbour earlier this year.
We like art too and have been influenced by Bronwyn Bancroft's illustrations.
Our Librarian is Mrs Morgan and we are participating in this rap as part of our Library lessons.
The things that make our school different:
Flora
Out side the boundaries of Narranga there is a fantastic creek. Along the creek side you will find a great range of trees including gum trees and ever green trees.
Fauna
There is an excellent variety of animals inside and outside school grounds including water dragons, birds, bats and many more marvelous animals.
Advantage
Narranga has large grass playing fields unlike other schools which instead have concrete playing areas.
We are looking forward to reading messages from other rappers.

Hello Rappers,
Welcome to all new schools including the Year Threes from Sacred Heart Primary School in Colac. We can now add a school from Victoria to the Rap Map of Australia.
I am sure that you will enjoy your Leaf Litter investigations and activities.
We are looking forward to hearing your interesting responses.
Rap Point 2
What is a natural environment?
How does Leaf litter: exploring the mysteries of a hidden world, relate to your investigation of your local environment?
Name and describe 5 things you observed in your environment that are also found in the text?
How can we participate in improving this part of our environment?
Please include the rap point and your name in the subject heading when you post your class response <mailto:readiscover07_rap at bookraps.services.det.nsw.edu.au> to the rap. It is also important that your teacher has approved the final message.
Have fun READiscovering,

Hello Rappers... Rap Point 2... Leaf Litter
A natural enviroment is place that is not man made and has trees.A natural enviroment is a place where things are not man made.
Reading Leaf Litter relates to parks but we didn't talk about leaf litter when we researched local environments...It relates to the things in the park but we didn't look at the small things.
The 5 are flies, trees, leafs, soil, and birds.
We can particapate in improving our enviroment by planting more trees and stop polluting.

Subject: [Readiscover07_rap] Rap Point 1 from 4W at ECPS
Hi fellow rappers,
When 4W first looked at Home we thought it looked like night and a bit sad. After reading the story it prompted us to think about what is home for us and how we see birds flying around and rarely stop to think what they are doing or how we interact together. We pretty much take them for granted.
We then worked in table groups and wrote parts of the story from the falcon's point of view. Here is what we came up with:
Giant red flames come as I hunt for food, but there were no birds left for us. We decide that it is best to find a new home. We are flying in the skies searching high and low for a new home. We see shiny cliffs all smooth and right so we decide to live there.
I'm going hunting for food for myself and my wife. I'm up in the sky looking for food. Then I see a massive bird flying up in the sky and it is coming towards me and I thought it was going to kill me so I quickly flew away and searched somewhere else.
I'm searching for food in the bushes while a wild screeching beast is coming towards me. I fly as fast as I can behind him. He comes from behind, back and forth, back and forth, so I find my way out of the bushes and continued hunting for food.
I am looking for food and I went over a mountain. I saw a flicker of feathers and I swooped down to get it and nearly got hit by honking beasts. I was safe and I still had the bird in sight.
I am hunting for food in the cliffs. I come across a cliff that looks like a good home. I'm on a cliff but it looks strange. I go hunting for food. I come across a mountain peak. I see monsters screeching and I see food. I swoop and almost get hit by a monster. I catch the bird and take it back to my nest.
I was trying to find the food when I find a bird which I am trying to catch. When I arrived home I'm surprised that my wife has laid an egg. We then ate the bird and we felt satisfied until tomorrow when I will search for food again.
