Hi rappers!
In 4C our first impression of 'HOME' by Narelle Oliver were:
- We expected that birds lived in the bush.
- We imagined the story was about a lost and frightened bird.
- We thought the bird would have a home on real cliff.
After we read the story, our ideas changed:
- The cliffs were actually tall shiny skyscrapers.
- The blue animal we thought might have been a plane, was really a boy on a swing wearing a blue shirt.
- We realised what we thought was a waterfall was actually the city.
Here is some of our writing from the Falcon's point of view.
I am so scared now that my habitat has been burned down. I am tired and I don't feel like hunting for food. Where am I going to go? I can't find anywhere else to live.
Finally I am approaching the mountains but they look like they have holes all through them. Why have they broken away at the bottom? There might be food for me in these mountains
We are looking forward to reading your emails when we go to computer groups today.
Bye for now,4C rappers at Narranga P S
