Student Task 2
Term 4, Week 3: week beginning 2 November, 2009

Rap point 1

Student Task 2

1a) How do we know that Bear and Chook are friends?

For clues, look closely at the text and illustrations in both Bear and Chook titles. For example, on both title pages the illustrator, Emma Quay, focuses only on the characters’ legs to suggest that Bear and Chook enjoy spending time together.

1b) Think about your friends. What makes a good friend? How do you like to spend your time together?
