Introductory rap point

  • Send a short introductory message about your class to the rap blog and provide information about your school and its location, including the name of the Aboriginal Land on which the school stands.

    After reading other schools’ introductions, rappers can locate schools on their Rap map.

  • Read and enjoy picture books the, Bear and Chook and Bear and Chook by the sea, which are the focus of the book rap.

  • Watch a video of the author, Lisa Shanahan, and the illustrator, Emma Quay, as they read Bear and Chook by the sea.

Posting response to Introductory rap point

Prepare the group response to Introductory rap point.

Post your class introduction to the rap blog once your teacher has approved the final message. Your class might wish to respond to the introductions from other rappers via the rap blog. The Planning & programming activities will help teachers.
