Introductory rap point

During this week, rappers send a short introductory message about their class and provide information about their school and its location. Include comments on healthy, active lifestyle activities at their school.

As the Olympic Games begin at the end of the week, rappers may also like to write about what they are most looking forward to during the games.

After reading other schools’ introductions, rappers locate schools on their Rap map.

During this week rappers may have time to investigate the following websites in preparation for Rap point 1:

Post your class introduction to the rap blog once your teacher has approved the final message. Your class might wish to respond to the introductions from other rappers.

Posting responses:

  • prepare the response with the class
  • student/s (Rap Rep) may word process the response, edit and save
  • teacher facilitates the student/s use of the word processor and blogging procedures to post the response to Introductory rap point once the teacher has approved the final text.
