  Book Rap Learning Support Course

For teachers

This online course will investigate the use of Book Raps in the classroom and will run for the duration of the Book Rap.During the course teachers will explore:

  • the nature of a Book Rap - their structure and procedures (basic 'ins' and 'outs')
  • how Book Raps can enhance literacy and support learning across all Key Learning Areas
  • classroom management issues: different models of Book Rap implementation

An opportunity to raise questions and explore issues in a collegiate group, via email, is the pivotal focus of this course.Teachers may then participate in a Book Rap with their students. The teachers' discussion group will continue, allowing teachers to be supported by an online mentor, and their collegial group during the book rap.
