Create your own humorous cartoon based on Don’t let the pigeon drive the bus!

Mo Willems has provided clues for a continuation of this story or you can think of your own. If you are having trouble, here are a few suggestions. Just imagine an eggstremely ridiculous story named Don’t let the pigeon…

• babysit
• drive the Ferrari
• borrow your roller blades

You may, of course, choose a different creature to do the unexpected or opposite to develop your cartoon, such as:

• a snail running
• a tortoise high jumping
• elephant ballerinas in tutus
• a rabbit pulling a magician out of a hat

Once you’ve drawn the cartoon, scan or photograph it, and paste each frame into a slide for a PowerPoint presentation.

Ask your teacher to email your cartoon to the Rap Coordinator, Cath.Keane and it will be posted to the Picture gallery.
