How to play: Balls are lined up in the centre of the pool. The game begins when the referee uses a spell to raise them approximately three metres above the water's surface. Once it has reached the 3m mark the game begins with the players using spells and charms to direct the balls to their own goals. Rules: The goalie is not permitted to use any magical or supernatural spells or charms , but he or she can be assisted by team mates. A maximum of 50 spells can be used by each team. If a team uses their spells before the other team then they must attempt to defend their goals using normal physical defence. When both teams have used their 50 spells the game is over. Each goal is worth one point and the team with the highest points wins. A penalty is awarded if any major injuries are inflicted upon opponents. This penalty is in the form of a shoot out from three metres in front of the goal. No magic is permitted when taking a penalty. Using dark magic will have the team disqualified and reported to the Ministry of Magic and the National Whisking Water Polo League where punishment will be considered. The goalie cannot resort to magic at all. If a goalie uses magic them two spells are added to the other team. Spells can only be made on the ball and not players, goals, water or any outside elements. If this occurs two spells are added to the other team. Enjoy playing Whisking Water Polo!!
