Daphne Bell

Hi, my name is Daphne Bell. I was born in a little town called Yass, which is near Canberra. My Dad’s name is Eric Bell and he is a Ngunnawal Elder. My Mum’s name is June Freeman and she is a Wiradjuri woman.

I have four children and nine grandchildren. I work at Crawford Public School as the Aboriginal Education Assistant. I love my position, AEA, because I get to work with students, teachers, parents and the wider community. I do enjoy being involved in activities like this rap.
