Having participated in the rap, share your experiences with other rappers about what you learned and enjoyed. What skills and insights have you learned that you would like to tell other rappers about? When thinking about what has been learned, refer also to the outcomes for this rap.
Activity 1: Class discussion
Rap reflection sheet 1 followed by Rap reflection sheet 2, can assist with this activity.
Optional activity
Having participated in this rap, create your own paintings, drawings or digital collages about belonging, identity and growing up proud. Write a paragraph about the symbols in your own picture, to tell us what each of them is about. Your class may choose to post one or a number of these works to the rap blog.
Activity 2: Posting your final group response
After completing the rap reflection sheets, use the ideas about what you have learned to prepare the final class response. Post the response once the teacher has approved the final text.
Thank you for joining our rap.
