Bundanoon Public School is a true learning community where students and staff are encouraged to explore ideas, expand their minds and learn new ways to express themselves in a safe and nurturing environment. Our motto, Creativeness and Imagination, captures the atmosphere of our beautiful school which serves a village of about 2,500 residents in the Southern Highlands. We have well qualified, caring teachers, a quality curriculum which includes excellent reading programs, specialist teachers in computers, PE/Sport and wonderful visual and performing art experiences for all children, as well as successful leadership programs though an active Student Representative Council. Extra-curricular activities include Chess Club, Choir, Public Speaking, Recorder, Guitar and Dance Groups, access to state-wide and international competitions, camping, athletics clinics and much more! In classrooms and playgrounds and during the rich variety of extra-curricular activities offered to them, our students perform successfully and behave well. Intellectual quality and significance underpin our planning and practices to provide a high quality and balanced education for our students. Parent and community involvement is integral to our daily programs and special events. This relationship is highly valued. Their generosity is a perfect model for students to learn about being part of an active, caring and responsible community.
