Dapto Public School, located in the Horsley area west of Dapto, is one of the oldest schools in the State. The present site which the school relocated to in 2004, is the third to be occupied by the school since its establishment in 1876. With a committed school community promoting quality teaching & high academic outcomes, and developing smartboard technology to support classroom learning, the school has a strong focus on the creative and performing arts & sport. The school has a class for students with moderate and severe intellectual disability and is currently establishing a multi-categorical class.
