Uralla Central School educates students from Kindergarten to Year 12. It is situated in the New England region of north west New South Wales.
Uralla Central caters for the full range of student abilities, from students with disabiities to gifted and talented students. Dedicated enrichment, extension and acceleration programs, learning support programs (including Reading Recovery), specialist music and drama programs, extensive sporting opportunities and numerous vocatonal education and training (VET) courses ensure that all our students' interests and needs are met, allowing them to achieve to their full potential.
Student welfare is a major focus at Uralla Central. Using the "You Can Do It" welfare program, students are explicitly taught about being resilient, confident, organised, persitent as well as how to get along with others. The program has been an enormous success.
Uralla Central boasts exceptional staff expertise across all key learning areas and it is very well supported by its community. With a student population of approximately 400, we are able to provide a happy and safe learning environment for all our students.
