Crookwell High School promotes the attainment of high personal standards and the pursuit of excellence within a caring environment. The senior curriculum features a large range of Board of Studies developed courses as well as access to vocational education courses at school, at Technical and Further Education Colleges and Distance Education Centres. The New South Wales Department of Education and Communities support students with disability and additional learning and support needs in public schools in a range of ways.
