Coniston Primary School is a multicultural school with the majority of children coming from a Non English Speaking Background (N.E.S.B.). The school is situated south of the centre of Wollongong with commercial traders nearby. Students, staff, parents and community have worked co-operatively to enhance the learning environment. Our school is supported by the N.S.W. Priority School's Funding Program 2000-2004. Attached to the school is the Auburn Street Unit which serves all schools in the Wollongong Cluster. The Unit enrols up to twelve emotionally disturbed/behaviour disorder students.
